Thermaframe have the knowledge and expertise to handle the design, manufacture and installation of replacement windows and doors, conservatories and a host of other bespoke home improvements.
Our guides (below) explain the services we provide. You can then arrange a home visit by one of our experienced consultants. There's no obligation, and it's the best way to find out what's right for you and your home.
Windows and Doors Buyers Guide
Discuss your requirements with us and arrange a home visit. We will show you the frame designs available and the colour /finish options. We then measure up so we can give you an accurate quote.
Once you've decided to replace your windows or doors
Our surveyors will call to measure each window accurately. All details are then double-checked.
Thermaframe customer care is here to help you
Your order is received by our customer order department. Every detail is carefully entered into our computerised system and is then sent directly to the factory, where it will be manufactured.
Individually crafted for you
Your order is made using a combination of state-of-the-art high tech machinery and skilled craftsmen. Every stage is given close personal attention. Every frame and sealed unit is individually crafted for you.
Fitting your windows
Your windows are delivered to your home by a team of our experienced fitters. Every item is carefully checked. Your chosen handles are fitted on site and internal PVCu trims finish the window surround, reducing the need for decoration. The job is not finished until our installers have tidied up and finally we remove your old frames for recycling.
You will be completely satisfied
During the course of the installation you will receive a call from your home advisor, and again at the end, to make sure the installation has been completed to your satisfaction.
Ensuring your total peace of mind
Your new windows will add security, value and good looks to your home.
Conservatory & Orangery Buyers Guide
Our designers can help you decide what type of conservatory, orangery or glazed extension would best suit your budget and needs. We will talk you through your various options and make suggestions on glass, colours and design.
Drawings and quotes
We then use CAD software to make you scale drawings to enable you to visualise your design. We provide you with a comprehensive quote and can advise on extras, such as heating, lighting and climate control, even flooring products and blinds.
Construction
Once you have decided to go ahead with your new conservatory, we will send a construction team to your home to begin building the foundations and walls. We will call you to arrange a convenient start date and will estimate how long the work should take. Meanwhile we place your glass order through to our factory via our computerised ordering system.
Installation
Once the building work is complete our experienced fitters will install your frame and roof and then the glass. Finally handles are fitted to your new conservatory.
Interiors
Depending on the level of finish you require and what extras you have purchased, our team of specialists will install your electrics, plumbing, heating and air-conditioning. Next, the flooring will be done and the walls plastered if that is part of the design.
Garden Rooms Buyers Guide
Visit our showroom or arrange a home visit! It's the best way to truly appreciate how lovely our 'green' garden rooms are. Also, arrange a home visit and our Home Advisor will show you pictures from our brochure and samples of the cladding.
Decide upon the plot and size of your garden room
Thermaframes home advisors will be able to tell you if planning permission is likely to be required. We will look at your garden and suggest possible places to site the new Garden Room and then measure the plot.
Discuss your requirements with us
You need to think of the possible uses of your new garden room, how many electrical points would you like, what type of lighting or even ethernet points? We can help you through the design process and produce drawings and plans. We will make a quotation for you outlining the proposed works and details.
Decide to buy and start building
Once you have decided to purchase and build a garden room from Thermaframe, we will arrange a convenient start date and arrange for our experienced team of builders to start any required foundations. Our craftsmen then start the frame and insulation. The roof structure goes up and is then tiled to your specifications.
Meanwhile we order your windows and patio doors using our computerised ordering system so the factory can start their manufacture.
Windows and doors installation
Thermaframe then send a team of window and door fitters to your property and install your new windows, sealing the garden room from the outside elements.
Finishing Touches
Once the garden room is sealed we can then start the work on the interior using our experienced tradesmen; carpenters, plasterers, electricians and tilers if required. Your Home Advisor will have talked with you about the various options available to make the interior of your new garden room unique to you.
Enjoy your new space
Finally we clear up the site and if part of the quote, we landscape the area around the new garden room and any pathways you have requested. You can start to enjoy using more of your garden all year round, protected from the elements by a quality, energy-efficient outbuilding. A home from home, your new beautiful garden room.
